The Australian Celtic Festival runs from 30th April to 3rd May 2026, with main event taking place on 2nd & 3rd May at The Australian Standing Stones National Celtic Monument.
However, there are so many other ways to enjoy the festival, like attending the below official events held at other locations around Glen Innes, many of which are free!

This concert kicks off the beginning of the Australian Celtic Festival and is held at the Glen Innes Services Club.
Come along for a wee dram of some of the performers you can see at the festival over the weekend.

The Celtic Symposium brings together a variety of presentations covering anything Celtic! Over the full day, enjoy half-hour talks and discover the range of interests across the full spectrum of Celtic history and culture, given by amateurs and professionals alike. Attend these FREE presentations to immerse yourself in the world of the Celts, meet like-minded people, ask questions, learn from experts in their field, and offer opinions.

The Opening Ceremony marks the official opening of the 2026 Australian Celtic Festival acknowledging Scotland, and includes the lighting of the Friendship Flame, which symbolises the rekindling of old and new acquaintances in the Glen Innes Highlands.
