A free shuttle bus service is made available each year to transport festivalgoers to the festival site at the Australian Standing Stones National Celtic Monument.
Bus stop locations and service times will be advertised here when confirmed.
Festival attendee parking – Accessed via Shannon Vale Road (follow directions) via the Gwydir Highway. Shuttle buses will be transporting people from the attendee parking site to the festival entrance (allow 10 minutes between bus loops). Alternatively, if you are fit and able, you can walk up the hill to the festival site. There is a Box Office located at the car park and Watsons Drive.
Restricted onsite parking – Entry to the festival site along Watson Drive is restricted during the event. Only cars displaying event car passes will be allowed to enter the venue from Watsons Drive. Onsite parking is only available to traders, performers, contractors and event officials.
There are limited disabled parking spots available, however, there will be a disabled drop-off/pick-up point. For disability entry and parking, please ensure you display government parking permits and have the necessary documents available for traffic officials. A shuttle bus will also be available to transport you directly to the site from the main car park.
Please show consideration to our local residents and businesses by not parking in private driveways or carparks.
Get your daily exercise and walk to the festival! The festival site is close to town, where there is plenty of non-restricted parking available – The Australian Standing Stones is a short 15-minute walk via Tregurtha Way at the eastern end of Bourke Street. Please note it’s steep towards the end and not recommended for those with mobility or health issues.
You also might find a parking spot along Bourke St or nearby side streets.
