The Australian Celtic Women show brings together an all-female 7 piece musical ensemble to transport you back to rolling hills and misty moors, with tantalizing harmonies, dazzling costumes and whirlwind fiddle playing.
This concert focuses on our featured Celtic nations this year with songs from Wales, Cornwall & Brittany; along with some favourite Irish & Scottish tunes.
Come join us at the Chapel for our special “Songs from the Valleys” concert.
More than just a ‘celtic band’, be prepared for a show that combines the richness of celtic instruments (harp, fiddle, bagpipes, bodhran, cello, keys, drums, tin whistles) with award-winning musicians and singers and years of experience in opera, musical theatre, folk, pop and celtic music, to provide an unforgettable performance full of warmth, memories, laughs, dancing, exhilaration and more…

This will be a lively evening of music, poetry and performance with opportunities to join in one of the biggest Celtic music sessions on the event calendar.

The Glen Innes Art Gallery is holding an exhibition themed ‘Mythological Creatures’ from 18 April to 22 May. Entry is free.
Celtic inspired entries are also included in the Australian Celtic Festival Cultural Awards Art prize. Make your selection to help choose a winner.
